To Whom It May Concern:When the Calvinist Cadet Corps has a counselor’s convention, it’s for more than just the leaders in this boy’s ministry. It’s for the leaders and their families. Wives and children are invited and encouraged to take part. That’s why we were delighted to have a workshop at our summer convention called Romance 101. It was for men and wives together, and proved to be an excellent choice! The presentation, provided by Two-gether Ministries of Devon, Alberta – was tasteful, fun and useful. Even an excellent marriage like the one I’m in can use positive outside influence, and this provided it. As an example, one simple thing I picked up from it was the occasional purchase of a single rose to surprise my wife.Anyone who takes this workshop – and takes it seriously should profit from it. If their relationship doesn’t improve, it not the fault of the leaders, who obviously know and love their stuff.I’ve spoken with others who were at the same workshop I was in, and they agree. If you have an opportunity to use Ruth and Simon Clarence at your event, do it! You’ll learn, you’ll have fun and you won’t be sorry.
